How do you win the UK War?

Historians discuss who started World Wars 1 and 2. There will be no discussions on who started the war for Gibraltar. England did. It is no wonder Scotland wants independence and freedom from sending any more soldiers to meaningless military operations like in Ireland, The Falklands, and Tony Blair’s Iraq.

Any excuse to flex its Army. 

Gibraltar is of no particular importance in a modern war. What military use, Spain could handle that on behalf of NATO. The idea shows a 300 years old mindset of old men in the conservative party. 

The UK manipulates democracy. They have always been willing to respect referendums on independence provided they have had time to overpopulate Northern Ireland, Scotland, Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands with English jobseekers.

To fill the coffers you have to fill the ballots.

 Respect Gibraltar’s referendum. Let them stay in the EU. 

The old idea of moving under another power is technically dysfunctional. English administration will be dissolved and a new, but well known EU/Spanish administration will go into effect. Maybe a Scotland in the EU will administer Gibraltar? I Looped the Loop, there!

300 years old mindset dictating the New Europe.

Holding on to the UK constellation, forces conservatives to show their 300 years old face.

Conservative is to freeze in old dies, or to tend to values while developing them. There is old and new conservatism. 

300 years old arguments need to be coupled to their political reality. Hanging on to Gibraltar, the Falklands and Northern Ireland needs to go with Brexit. Then Brexit could entail some positive elements, though unforeseen.
